Sunrise at Chunwang peak of Jiri mountains

The Jiri Mountain range, which is nominated as the first national park, is composed of many peaks that climb to over 1500 meters above sea level. Korean’s hold this area in great respect and deep admiration, so much so in fact that Jiri mountains are fondly referred to as “Mother’s Mountain.” Adventurers can find comfort and deep relaxation in the motherly peaks of the range.  The most famous section of the Jiri Mountain area is the first section of the Beakdudaegan trail from Nogodan to Chunwang.  And interestingly, there is a story that the sunrise of Chunwang peak is afforded to only people, who have done kind acts through three generations.
